ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! REMEMBER 14 FEB 11 !!!!!

Subject: Enough is Enough!

Hi !

Petrol costs less than the Indian equivalent of Rs 20 per litre in Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and  Malaysia, but Rs 65 per litre in India. Why? Crude oil price in the world market is not the reason for such high prices in India. The reason lies in our own Govt's policies and the perpetual thirst of the three public sector undertaking oil companies, viz. Indian Oil Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation and Bharat Petroleum Corporation. Subsidy and all that is pure rubbish.

Expecting the Govt to step in and control the fuel prices is like expecting a bull to give milk! The Govt is in fact forcing the airlines, shipping companies and truck companies to raise their prices to justify the fuel price hikes. That has a spiralling effect on the prices of other commodities. Who pays all those prices in the end? I do, you do, we all common people do!

What happened to the price control promised by the Arab countries two weeks ago? Nothing happened, and nothing will happen. We Indians cannot tackle the world market or the Arabs. But we can tackle our own Govt and the PSU oil companies! Here is how >>>

If Indian citizens do not purchases any petrol or diesel for one whole day, all at the same time, oil companies will choke on their stock-piles. This would hit the Govt and the oil companies very hard and it would also shake the foundations of the oil companies. Their combined daily take exceeds 4 billion, just in case you wondered "how hard".

So, if you own a two-wheeler, a three-wheeler, a car, a tempo, a bus, a truck, a tractor or maybe even a private jet. . . , please do not buy a single drop of fuel on 14 Feb 2011. Yes, that is the date selected by like-minded citizens as "stick-it-up-their-ass" day. 14 Feb 2011. It is bound to yield some positive results. We can always give the Govt a repeat performance if required, can't we?

So, please remember 14 Feb 2011, and please fwd this mail to all your friends. You do fwd mails, don't you? So why not this one? At least it is for a good cause!
