Tree Plantation Campaign in Delhi on August 8

The Sant Nirankari Mission will plant 10,000 trees in Delhi on Sunday, August 08, 2010.   The Campaign will be inaugurated by the Head of the Mission His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj by planting the first tree in the Samagam Ground, Burari Road.  More than 25000 devotees of the Mission will participate in the Campaign.

As many as 5000 trees will be planted in North Delhi along Outer Ring Road between the Wazirabad Crossing and the Mukarba Crossing.  Another 5000 trees will be planted in other parts of the Capital.

The one day campaign will be a token celebration of the spirit of Common Wealth Games and an effort to present a green a pollution free Delhi to those who come from outside.

In addition, the Mission has taken the responsibility to keep the monuments in Delhi clean.
