Dear Vikas Thakur
On the right you'll find a brief history of what's happened in the campaign for safe food. Now, the latest in this story is that after Nestle says it sells no genetically-contaminated food in India (as this is prohibited by local laws), the company tells us it actually supports such food.
Forced by Nestle's refusal to come up with a safe food policy in India, Greenpeace is at Nestle's headquarters right now, taking the voices of thousands of people just like you straight to the company's doorstep.
You can view the action unfold minute-by-minute by clicking here, and then write directly to Nestle Chairman Antonio Waszyk.
Even as you read this, our activists are confronting Nestle with proof of what Indian consumers really want. To make our efforts worthwhile, Nestle will need to know that it's not just Greenpeace, but tens of thousands of its own customers who don't want to eat genetic junk. Not now. Not ever.
There isn't a moment to lose. Give Nestle a taste of consumer preference. Simply click here to join the fight for safe food!

- Over 30,000 of Nestle's own customers have demanded genetically-unadulterated food from the company.
- Over 4,000 (or 98%) of Nestle customers polled have voted AGAINST genetic junk.
- Hundreds of Nestle customers have RETURNED their products to the company and many more have called Nestle and flooded their voicemail.
- Bowing to public pressure, Nestle tells us it sells no genetically-contaminated food in India...for now.
- Three Indian companies (Britannia, MTR and Ruchi Soya) have committed to a safe-food policy. Nestle has NOT.
