10 easy steps to impress your Girl's Mom!!!

Agreed that Mother's Day just passed, and you so wanted to strike the right chord with your would-be Mom-in-law, but poor you, it turned out to be a disaster. Right?

You don't need occassions to impress her boy. Reasons are just round-the-corner when you want her to proclaim in her kitty party, "My son-in-law is the best!" Don't think of her as monster-in-law, else all your efforts sink to nil. So, here I go, as my mom's daughter, to reveal you the secrets that would make her go all smiles about you!

10. Do all the small handy tasks for her. It could range from helping her arrange the room to nailing that picture up the wall. Volunteer dude! She would be more-than happy to be at the receiving end of the help.

9. Get her something that she could call Her's. Please don't show up with those regular show-piece stuff. Even if it's like 'wow', I insist on something 'personal' say a book of thoughts about how you look upto her as a mother.

8. Cook for your mom-in-law. Please cook only what you are really sure could go amazing in taste. Cook the sunday supper, and be courteous, original and presentable while you serve it.

7. Bring her old lost friend to home and surprise her. Give her a break from the regular monotonous life and let her go back into the memory lane with the loved ones.

6. Arrange a trip to the spa or a beauty saloon for her, where she could relax, rejuvenate, and refresh herself. Give her all the time she needs for herself, and ofcouse, she so well deserves it. It took her real hard work to bring up your PYT. Din't it?

5. Be in her shoes for a day. Do all that she does, from cooking to cleaning and looking after her. Take care of her the way she takes of your darling girl.

4. Take care of your own mother as well. A guy can only look after his girl's family, if he cares enough for his own. Else it seems a pretentious move and is evident that you are with her for a purpose.

3. Treat her girl with affection. A mum would never be more happy than the fact that her girl's happy with her guy, and that the guy loves her so very much. Being a mother, she can see through your moves, so love her girl unconditionally.

2. Stop being the formal groom-to-be. You can never be a part of the family unless it's in your head and heart. Be yourself and consider the family as your's.

1. Last but the most important one. There's nothing like a day to treat her, like I earlier said. Bring her cards, roses, wine or whatever flavors her. Do it all religiously, without a motive.
