1. Personal Development.

Self improvement is a must for any entrepreneur. Real success starts from the inside and then gets manifested in the outside world that you experience. Who you are defines what you get from your life and unless you change first in that inner level your dreams and desires would never get fulfilled.

The best way to do this is by reading books. Leaders are readers and you as a potential one that would lead your network and your team to success should make it a habit of yours to read every day.

2. Learn From Those That Have Been There Before You.

And I am referring to your sponsor and his team. These people have been where you are now in the past and they know the best course of action in order to get your multilevel marketing business rolling. They have been in your shoes and made the same mistakes so they speak from experience. Listen to them and pay attention to what they say. After all your success is to their best interest since they will also gain from it.

3. Socialize With Like Minded People.

Nothing can harm more your chances to succeed than negative and miser people in your environment. I know that most of us have friends that belong to these categories and though I can't recommend to stop seeing them you should seriously consider to minimize the time you spend with them. Use that extra time to be close to achievers and success oriented people who are not afraid to pursue their dreams and they are working on changing their life.

Such people can be an inspiration and the vibrant, positive, and full of energy environment they create would affect you at the best possible ways. And it's not necessary to find them in clubs and gatherings only. You can also socialize with that kind of people even online in forums or other Internet media.

4. Set Goals.

Goals are like the destination on a map. If you don't know where you want to go, what kind of journey are you going to do? You would be wandering without purpose and you will end making circles in the same place like those that get lost in deserts. It is marvelous how putting your goals on a sheet of paper can change your life.

5. Write A Marketing Plan.

It doesn't have to be perfect and it is not going to be the final one, but it is a good start. In fact most probably it would be a lousy one, but its main purpose is to have something that you can work on, expand, improve, and keep you on track.

If you are sloppy and you only do what you feel like doing at that time, you run the risk of postponing important things until it's too late for the well being and unfortunately many times for the survival of your business. That is part of your organization and your scheduling. Prepare the night before a to-do list with all the tasks you have to complete the next day and follow it. It can greatly boost your productivity and help you accomplish more in less time.

8. Pass From Theory To Action As Fast As You Can.

Procrastination and analysis paralysis are the greatest causes of wasted potential. How many success stories have been lost in the history of human kind because of them? Nobody knows, but if you don't want to be one of them you have to learn to act on everything new that you learn as fast as you can. Ideally at the same time.

Mistakes are an unavoidable part of our life and we would keep making them as long as we live. Actually that's how our brain learns. We make mistakes and we get feedback to improve our performance so we don't repeat them. Like when learning bicycle, you have to fall some times before you start riding it correctly.
